It's been fun lately for the upcomin Stalingrad dio.

I browsed around Armorama.com and found a way to make walls and sidewalks.

So far i have completed the wall(with plaster coming off, revealing the bricks), the sidewalk (bricks pavement) and some few pieces of bricks fashioned with strips of COMPRESSED styrofoam.
Ive also added on wooden floor for the interior side of the building made with ice cream sticks (cut to scale). Positions of the figures have been decided and now its time to drill holes up their heel... If that isnt painful enough.. i'll be sticking needles up the cavity i made!!! evil evil evil....

this may turn out to be a very interesting piece of work yet. Lots of action... compact and small... one story and lotsa colours. I wanted a monotone appearance for this dio but i stil have to figure out if a mist of grey as filter would work in blending up all the objects together nicely.

Oh yeah i went for a shopping spree too. this time.. armed with only... 14 dollars... i bought two huge tupperwares to keep my paints and brushes... one huge tub of wall putty (which can be used for groundwork and walls)... more chinese ink... 100 pieces of ice cream sticks... an acrylic flesh colour and a pallette for paints. I now have.... five dollars left of the fourteen.

now lets see the value... tupperware; can be used forever... wall putty; can be used till im out of NS... ice cream sticks; one 17 inch monitor screen worth of wood... chinese ink; well a lot of stinkiness... acrylic flesh colour... 20 over faces of figures (maybe less cos i aint good at painting) and of course... the pallette can be used forever... otherwise just a day if i dont wash it up.

wow... im learning maths!

Now to take some pictures of Stalingrad dio... hereby dubbed.... Russia's Heroes..... but if only the photobucket server........................
