So today was teacher's day. and meeting day!!

ok fine i came to school not for the teachers....i think.....

Vicky came along with me (well he can walk... so i guess his back problem would be over soon....) ... actually Javis asked but then... bing bang bong..... him and the lazinesss disease many of us here have just because "not many people are going" environment is there... only vicky and i went. Though we wanted to call more but decided that it might be too troublesome for the rest to come down. After all.. how many of us even "had good teachers"?

I met up with mdm sung (wow... she looks better now....seriously...) and mrs teng (Go, Teng, Go!), mr. yeo, mdm aini... mdm rina... sir latiff and mam raps.... and maybe a few more..

And it seems like ms. tan and mr. chan loves to diao me. well... just because im a media student maybe....

and of course.. those ex-students who come back to school with all these funny hairstyles and artificial smells used in candy manufacturing plus tattoos and ripped shirts and a ton of cosmetics (and dressings that dont fit some of them especially..)

its like.. jsut because ITE or Poly allows them to dye their hair, wear skimpy clothings and all that... they HAVE to do it. (okay so ITE has a uniform... oops)

I mean just look at Erwin and Vicky... they just go there with NATURAL coloured hair, adequetely applied hair cosmetics and matching dress attire.

And they look more approachable than most.

Well...

ANyways the meeeting with the NVSS NVP1 Prod Team (let's call them... NNPT... ) was short.. again.. sadly... due to the incorrect forseeing of constraints in time. So i passed some of them notes which i wrote and my sch textbook and a sample production paperwork.

I really hope they would complete all paperwork (script, shooting schedule, budget, etc. etc.) by this coming wednesday. but most importantly, ASSIGN ROLES for EACH OF THEM. .. so that i can pinpoint peple if anything doesnt go according to plan....

Currently i have 14 people under the prod team. That's a hefty load. Actually i think its to many as well.... maybe i should make two videos instead?

I spoke personally to some of them (HI SHERYL!!!) and tried to get them to think about handiling certain roles.....

The team must be shooting latest by..... end of next next week.

And then the final outcome of the video will be finished earliest three days after i receive their footages.

---------------------------------------------------------

So i met The Nerdies of 4e1 2005 today. Saw Daryl, Tianyu, Ming Hai, Zhen Zhen and chee kern. did i miss anyone? hmm.... oh well....

So i guess te government is doing some work in breaking the stereotype that ITEs are for idiots..... first they changed the name of ITE to ITE College (wow!) and then they change the JC uniform of Yishun (tts a funny way to put it) to something about 90% similar to ITE uniforms (inclusive of GST and GDP and income tax.... well..)

Hey baby Tianyu has long hair... now i can pull it.. lolz... handsome lad...
Still the usual arse he is... lolz.... ooo and i just found out Zhen Zhen likes Henry Aw!!! OMG OMG!!!! well fat chance, Zhong Guo Nu Ren~~!!!

Played a bit on the school's grand piano just now.... i didnt really like thesound of it.... it was just too muffled (ok fine maybe i should open up the piano's cover) and dull... just like the barber;s upright piano in his shop.

Vicky and i were supposed to meet Donald for a bit after that but then Nesh said it was off....

oo oo i saw hui shi just now!!! with her hui wen and xin xiu~~~=p=p=p=p.... lolz... i love teasing them....

And hui shi's NOT anaroxic. She eats a lot but never grows.

--------------------------------------------------------------

i spent my day with Erwin and Vicky. After sch we went over to the barber shop. I wasnted toplay the piano. The barber was feeling lethargic, the air con was on.. Erwin just grabbed the Xbox nearby and started playing...

Vicky was quick as well..

After i fiddled around a bit... i asked the barber to play me some classical... so he did... after he turned down the volume of the TV...

but then....

while he was playing... i jsut couldnt sense that exact same brightness he was playing his pieces a few days ago... it sounded lazy and slow. The other two were less than mindful to the fact that someone was playing music. Erwin was sitting on the same chair as the barber... viky and win were changing games on the Xbox.... talking.. whispering... though Erwin did appreciate the music that was playing. Apparently i found out that he too wants to play the piano.. he WATNS to take up a course.

Evrything didnt sound right that day.... the piano just sounded blunt. Maybe it was out of tune.... maybe it wasnt against the wall... maybe maybe...

Then erwin started fiddling with the piano... pressing two keys.. then two lkeys... then two keys... and pressing here and there.. i can see that he WANTS to make music.... it's as if he has that little something and wants everyone to see it. (ok maybe that didnt sound too right but u get what i mean.)

I kept prompting him to close the piano cover cos we still gotta go to Chong Pang to look for some piano courses (there were two music shcools). And when he closed the piano cover, the barber said,"I think the game sounds better than the music."

well...

So off we went to BLK 102 to find some piano courses. Well we found one...and it wasnt up to erwin's liking. He said that the rooms were too small (2 by 3 metres only) and the guy at counter looked ill-informed and influent. Though the courses were cheap (SGD68 per month), we still didnt feel convinced. Even the guy at the counter commented on how a student of theirs are playing in the room nearby: rigid pressing of the keys, fumbling inconsistent pacing with playing. And the studet was way over grade 8.

So no...

But we found another school... Cristofoni Music School.

Not a bad deco to begin with. Spacious (well... at least... three of us can walk side by side to the counter.) and good aircon.

The lady was cold towards us first.... but when we started talkin and i mentioned that i'm in FSV, she just got warmer and erwin and our cheekiness got to her. I asked a few questions (non-sensical ones too.. like... whther they have Steinway pianos; the worl'ds finest pianos - Shaun) and she started giving out brochures and some promotions going on (like a 4k Suzuki piano which can be played SILENT... with the sound transferred to headphones.... and i had to ask her how does the electronics work.... -.-) and even got out of her seat and showed us the piano that will be used by students when i prompted her.

This time i find the notes brighter and much more responsive and a lighter touch to it than the Lippmann in the barber and Grand in school. I think i like the sound.

Fees are SGD252 for three months (a term).

i liekd the place.. but Erwin was still not happy abt the environment as it wasnt "condusive" for learnin and that we should go to Plaze Singapura or Bugis instead to learn beause the place "was just renovated" and stuff.

I think i would have to disagree on that. because i think that i'd rather play in a small room with my piano alone rather than in a large reverberating room with many other pianos clinking about (or worse.... with earphones on!).

And i also have to disagree with him that we should play without learning theory because "theory's only for performing". He actually mocked me when i said that i wanna learn at least till Grade 8 for piano. He mocked,"Oh ya la now u wanna be a pianist go play to make money la? now you want to perform la?"

And out came all those weird names for my Music CD.

I think that going higher in learning something will just bring you more satisfaction. I dont think i want to be stuck playin three chords all my life.

Oh dear.. i think i'm gonna adopt playing piano the same way that i am doing with my models now.

So then we went to Sun Plaza to look for the "big brother" of all music schools... Yamaha.

Shaun recommends Yamaha for the love of the universe! I called him... and said i was up for Cristofoni...... and he proved the Russel Peters theory abt Chinese peopel giving the longest "no" in the world.

Shaun went,"NOOOoooooooooooo~~..... NOOooo audi... dont...."

Shaun doesnt like Cristofoni because of their approach to teaching music. But then again.. ... this bright boy was taught under Yamaha.... though he's under private tutor now.

I dont really liek the Yamaha School in Sunplaza.... (oh yar.. there was this organ player playing at the place where the instruments are up for sale... he was on headphons.... i think he was playing some dramatic pieces..a nd he was swinging abhut.. swaying here and there... doing the "Phantom of the Opeara" acting... throwing arms here and there in his sec sch uniform and we were stadning next to him giggling. But omg u should see one of those organs... they are freaking complicated...i think there were a dozen foot pedals!) .... and the environment this time, to me, was not inviting... i felt like i was in a kindergraden play house. The receptionist also wasnt that helpful nor enthusiastic at all. Is like she has some thing against those who mention the word,"Beginner's course..."

I tried some Yamaha pianos on display there (No, mam, i didn t see the "do not play" sign...i swear) becasue a few moments before, Shaun was playing some pieces for me over the phone (and some more on the way home! whee!!) and recommends Yamaha.

I dont really like the Yamaha pianos as welll.... even though they sound real sweet.... because touch-wise.... it's just too shallow for me. But then again.. maybe tt's how it's meant to be. Ina few days time, shaun and i will be going around Piano Shopping (audi shops'? oh my...) so maybe i'll learn more there.

And he gave me that long "no" again when i asked if i should buy that Suzuki piano.

oh well...

My dad accepted my decision for piano lessons.

The house now is currently being packed into boxes to be sent to the Johr house. Soon, my room will have less shelves and more place for sex! uh.. i mean.... flex!..... yeah...

All the furnitures are going, really... leaving only the dinner table. The TV? i guess so too... i dont use it anyways... =p

How stingy of me.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Erwin once again mocked me and i thnk i really couldnt take it when he says that keyboards and pianos are the same.

I told him that keyboards and pianos are not the same because keyboards are "fake" (as in, they are MIDI... electronical...).

Adn he goes on being sarcastic and saying that yeah.. keyboards need to be played with drumsticks and that we can easily switch to piano on keyboard because "pianos all sound the same".

i thnk that through my anal-retentive hunt for a piano proves all these wrong.

I'm just weary of new technology.....I'm weary of how technology could steal away the classic feelings... liek for example pseudo culture as wwe have learnt in geography... its just unfair... that the uniqueness and authenticity of an artform has been degraded to something that can be bought, spoiled, and replaced again.

Just liek how the olden wars were fought, i just hink that real pianos are romantic. To me, at least.. when someone is playing a powerful piece, i can imagine the hammers bouncing and reflecting back an forth on the stirngs inside the piano. All that mechanical movements are something im truly amazed at. Listeners and players as well can FEEL the vibrations of the piano in the tunes being played. Digital crap cant do that.

That is why i dont htink i think highly of keyboard or E-music players than with REAL orchestras with REAL timpani drums and violins.

Maybe that's why i like my things done the "old fashioned way". otherwise what i do wouldnt be so special anymore... cause after all.. with all these machines coming about make things TOO easy to produce... anyting you do can actually be DUPLICATED by someone else.

But then again... i'm try not to be that anal-retentive to do everything without the help of new technology.

and i absolutely LOVE trance and techno music.

Rather than crap noise they call RnB and Rap and Hip Hop.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ermm oh yar.. ghosts stories?

well...

some of my classmates were apparently disturbed by some unseen beings nside the Audio Recording Studio...

Microphones dropping (seriously shaun, i saw that mic drop unnaturally) adn audio levels on the meter jumping up and down WITH NO SOUND BEING HEARD... ooo...

actualy.. during my recording session as well.. i kept seeing one of my audio channel lights flickering a bit... a sign that something is playihg at a a low level... i up-ed the volume and still cant hear anything. oh well...

Ok really... I'm very occupied witha few things.. .. my final project video still needs to be edited... and ive written out abt 10 pages of lecture notes for the NVSS NVP1 this wednesday (at 2:30pm~~!! happy teacher's day~~!!). Then comes my Audio Tech Radio Commercial Project whihc i just fnished mixing and transferring to a DAT tape today... we didnt use the Kewei fella.. got my "sexy voice".... as Mitch would put it. =p Hey she wants to sleep with my voice~~ =p wootz.. a Cedarian wants to sleep with something... that;s sth aint it.

Wonder if a West Springer wants to sleep with me too. =p

And of course.. that few thousand word proposal essay... which isnt going to well in my opinion.

then HOLIDAY!!! and im bringing some of the guys/girls/fags in class to Holiday Inn~~!!!

and we're so gonna go EVERYWHERE on this trip.

---------------------------------------------------------

NVSS NVP1 has been rather smooth sailing.

I'm surprised really.

I asked for one story synopsis, i got five instead!

and yes im also surprised that conflicts are already happening. I can foresee the dozen-over-members production team splitting up into two unequal cliques. Something has to be done.

But i think their enthusiasm will really bring the team up. Maybe i should pass on some social psychology notes. =p

--------------------------------------------------------------

hmm my creative juices (if i had some) arent really..... juicing for now.. o lets see.. ah yes... in my next post.. i'll be talking abt the supernatural... and the beings... yup.. ill give me take on wht i i think abt the supernatural.

Till then..

Current music playing now was performed by me. Its my rendition of Moonlight Sonata... albeit not done well since i have fingers too fat for the key on this keyboard and im still in the learning process.

Playing this piece over and over again since last night sure made me moody.

Anyways i leave you with a picture of the NVSS-NVP 1 Production team.

...and one of the few photos i took with Shaun's camera. Though we regret not watching this once-in-a-blue-moon sunset together, I believe that a time would come whereby we can finally see something spectacular like this in the near future and make up for my silly mistake (dont worry.. he knows wht i mean)

Thanks Shaun.

There goes another model.

On this day, my love, Die Gefuhle, parts from me, and us.

May it find happiness hereafter.

-------------------------------------------------------

I still dont get how i can love an artefact so much more than how i love a relationship.

Myabe cos i'm still not ready for a relationship?

---------------------------------------------------------

Okay, let's tallk abt time and money.

It is embedded in our society that time, and money, are the two most sought out entities by everyone.

everyone needs money to please themselves with things and also for status (well.. some). And likewise.. everyone needs time to spend for themselves.. t enjoy.. to sit down and reflect on the past with a glass of cold syrup drink in their right hand.

but hten again... this has driven many to force themselves to work all the way till the end. sure.. theymay have the money... but maybe the mney wasnt spent wisely. After all, spending money just for the sake of it or "we can do" is morally incorrect and wrong.

I had this classmate when i was taking up Chinese lessons beginning of this year.

He's caucasian.... comes in with a backpack full of god-knows-what and dresses sloppily in jeans and shirt, with a bulging tummy sticking out.

What des he work as?

one day we got to meet up.. he was going back to his home in Khatib.... and we talked.

Turns out that this guy....... doesnt work.

But he's a millionaire.

He claims that in just one year... he has earned 4 million dollars.

But how did he get that money?

well... he didnt start out rich. But he spends abot half an hour on his computer everyday, playing with the stock market.

That's it.

but of course, before all this he spent thousands to get a tutor to teaach him how to plaly witht he stock market.

And he doesnt brag when he loses some share.

He just drops one and gets another one... if u noe wht im saying.

Then he told me i was lucky.... cos i was still young (17? young?). He said that i should spend all the money in the world now.

Why?

Though not to spend money to buy clothes or shoes or a swimming pool in the middle of a field.. but rather to spend it on acquiring skills.

He says that i am still young... things get in my head easily.... i should acquire as much skills now... in anyting... before the brain starts to deteriorate.

then he said sth interesting....

He said,"Money, is nothing. Time..... is everything."

His support?

"Money comes anytime. but time doesnt."

And ive heeded his advice ever since.

Soon i was taking up modelling courses... buying korean and german language books.... taking a few risks and planning my own outings.... buying things that are useful such as this keyboard here.... taking up latin dance.. fencing....

And so far.. the only piece of clothing i have ever bought in the past 5 months or so was this green-brown pants... for $50 dollars... and one which i enjoy wearing a lot.

So even though i might be spending money like water every now and then.. i think it is good money... most of the times at least....

i think knowledge is invaluable. Knowledge doesnt mean ur academic education. I know of Bengs being more intelligent than nutcakes purring around a teacher's leg in school (we all have seen these typpes of people..... sucking up to teachers....)

Then what goes around, comes around. I think that when a person learns a skill.. no matter how much he spends just to learn that skill, all the mponey that he spends on it.. will come back... maybe in many folds!
Cause skill is not something everyone has by default (suddenly we're robots..."by default"). Though some person might seem natural in doing something very well... that is skill... skill that he has been learning for a very long time. These can be stuff such as calculations or photography.
The person who has mastered a skill that he has spend lots of time and money in.. would definitely earn sth from it. It could come in many ways; tutoring.. selling... recognition...fame.

Therefore i urge you readers, if you have not done so, to heed this millionaire's advice. Please spend ur money TO ACQUIRE SKILLS. It doesnt have to be something related to ur schoolwork. Try out new things. I believe it makes a person's life experiences much more complete, especially here in Singapore.

(i know, some might say that he/she do nt have that much money to spare on "new skills" (so they might say..)... but think abt it... arent we better off financially than most other people? The fact that u can read this blog on ur computer says a lot. I repeat, on YOUR computer..... Count ur blessings.)

There was a nice sunset yesterday evening.

A dash of red and orange framed by blue-black sky and a spot of pink in the middle.

The moment i saw it from the 8th floor of the FMS block, which was on a hill in addition to that, i quickly grabbed Shaun's camera and dragged Mitch out to the corridor of the block. (sorry shaun... couldnt find you... but the pics were for you. I tried my best to take the nicest.)

Ngee Ann's corridors are different in a sense... the room are centered in the middle of the floorplan with the corridors outside. Kinda like ur hdb blocks.

There is a portion of the corridor whihc is actually the roof of the next adjoining block. The railings were about waist high there. I went up there, wrapped the caemra straps around my wrists and shot a few frames of what could be the only time i ever saw a sunset that truly reflected a perfect day's closing.

and falling down from where i was wasnt gonna be a pretty sight

Then i got back to the editing room to find shaun unhappy and he was pissed cos i didnt see the sunset with him. -.-

------------------------------------------------------

I went to cut my HEAD hair just now.

The usual Malay barber....

Just a small shop in Yishun.

he has been cutting my hair since i came to Yishun. Last time i was obsessed with cutting my hair (cos really... it felt nice...). So it was cutting hair every two weeks....

Its been three months.... so i came back.

A few month before i just found out that this barber played in Holiday inn Kuching TWENTY years ago. Back when my dad was an F&B Manager. promoted form a waiter.

So yes... through this entire web-mass of people.... it could have been fate that I became the link between him and my father.

i cut my hair.. off goes the long locks.... off goes that bushy sideburn.... Now to shave my goatee... if you really wanna consider it a goatee.

I see that he bought himself a nintendo.... he was playing Star Wars Clone Wars... lolz~~~

I also saw that he bought a couple of mountain bikes as well. A guitar hangs on a wall. And an upright piano below it.

hmm... piano...

"how much is this piano?"

"Four thousand.... but i got it for two hundred.... it was a friend's."

"oh okay..."

Then came the magic sentence...

"Do you want to play it?"

And i did.... i pushed a feww keys... played a couple of notes.... and the ever majastic national anthem of our country.

I stopped.... and he asked me to play some more.

i tried to play the first few lines of Moonlight Sonata.... but i guess i wasnt used to playin on a real piano (the Creative Prodikeys keys are like.. what.... half the size of a real piano key.) .. and the rows of keyz on the piano was a bit too much for me to adjust to. all i saw was a row of white and a mass of black.... i really felt dwarved.

I stopped playng, ready to go... and he got up,"Want to see me play?"

and he played.

Not one song. Not two.... SIX songs NON STOP.

he played some classics like "Love Story" and a P Ramlee song (Getaran Jiwa... I sang that on stage when i was in primary school... witha group that is...) .

And the interewsting part here is that he CANT read notes! and self-thought himself. All the sequences was in memory.

I also noticed something.... an action ppl who play the piano do... including myself sometimes..... these ppl.. tend to sway their bodies in rythm with their hands and sound of the music.

Its scary to sit beside a person who does that... lolz... liek kana possessed....

But my hypothesis is that it helps to get the body into rythm with the music.

He played on and on for abt 15 minutes. Just him and I in the shop.

Then he offered me that if i ever needed to play the piano, i can come down to his shop (whihc is just across the road from my hse) anytime.

Then a guy walke in. A friend of his.

I dont know why.. but he introduced me to hiim.. saying that i speak very fluent english (hmm.... i do?) and very little malay (yeah baby.. spot on...). And that i came from and international school in Malaysia. Then he went on abt my dad and him (btw.. the barber plays the bass cello..) and all of a sudden he came onto say that i should really learn to play the piano.

Quoting form him (i find this very boastful... but its all in context....) ,"It takes a professional to sense whther a person has talent in playing a piano. Just now when he (me) was pressing the keys, i sensed that he has talent in the piano."

How can pressing a key tell that i have talent?!
'
"I cant explain.. but i know.."

Before that i told himi i was using the computer and playing on the keyboard at home.

He claims that im very talentd.. cos just by learining from a computer, on my own, i can do... things.. i dunno... i didnt really get the last part.

Adn he urged me to get a piano teacher. Cos if i do.. i'll be an "expert".

And the other day Shaun (yes.. him again....) was in my room and i was fiddling around with my undersized midget keyboard and he claims that i have rythm and melody built in me (i do?) plus i have learnt almost all the basic of playing pop music.

I dont know what to say.... but whtever.. im gonna get a teacher this holiday.

Before i left, the barber told me that i may have all the talent... but harwork must also come with talent.

He said i was gifted to have a lot of talent (modelling... video making...) but i must also be hardworking (seriously.. i lack that... im very complacent.) in order to achieve great standards.

Shaun was commenting on my photography skills yesterday.... i think he liked the sunset i took... and the macro shots of Die Gefuhle which i took.

And a few days ago i was humming my ass off (humming from my ass? hmm tt's new...) in the corridor.. enjoying the reverb (so echo and reverb are not the same things...) and he turned back and wowed at me.

For what?

Cos i "got the correct pitching for the platonic tones" a few moments ago.

What the hell are platonic tones???

well shaun said that its a five note thingy ... (lost here..) ....... err... yeah...

and i sang for him too and he liked it. Saying that i have a "sweet voice" (isnt sweet for femininity?)

Okay.... now... i think... Shaun.... you shouldnt carry my balls too often....

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Narrative Video Project (NVP) in nvss is going well... so far...

I brifed them on what this project really is.... yes.. still in its pre-li-me-na-ry stage... meaning it's still on trial. And that if the first video goes well and the school LOVES it.... NVPs would constantly be produced by the students..... with some earning involved (The school doesnt seem to mind paying SGD$300 dollars.... but they still have to go through MOE and the internal audit so that is a problem, really.... cos after all... i'm not a registered producer or anything like that. i'm not even near that level yet either.)

So the synopsis for the NVP script should be coming down to my office (wootz.. office..) ... to my mailbox tomorrow. Then i would be discussing witht hem the good and the bad of their proposed script.

And the next meeting... i will be forwarding to them wht ive been taught in Ngee Ann....

I see that the guys are currently very enthusiastic about this. i'm happy for that. Though... im already hearing conflicts here and there... particularly on the script.

And Beth is being very proactive in composing a song. (beth... you dont have to compose a full 5 minutes song. A 30 second one might just be alright as the vidoe soundtrack.)

My XM2 camera (now i call it Sam) will be rather busy as well.

Tomorrow Justin (the guy with the beard) will be recording his jamming sessions in the studio plus it's( and me as the cameraman) going over to Old Changi Hospital for their music video. In addition... Sam has helped out a bit in our Final Project. Pretty soon, Sam would also be producing videos for the meetings of the NVP in NVSS. Not forgetting the upcoming private vidoe project the crew is coming up with for the holidays.

So yes... Sam is as busy as i am.

It would also be used to record NVSS's NVP and the soundtrack of the video.

Also not forgetting the comlpetion of the house in johor and my trip into the jungles of Yishun, on a bike.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Reflecting back.. i think that things are progressing very well now. I'm sharing my joy doing things i passionately love with people who understand it. And I think that a few doors have opened up for me to try and help others. But of course.... i cannot be alone on all this.

I think i am lucky to be put into a class, a society of talented, intellectual people. The experience, together with the ones i am having with our own heartlanders (Yishun-ers =p) has really shaped my outlook on what the world has to offer.

Otherwise i could have been some guy with long bushy hair sitting under the block smoking or maybe be just another teenager in his own fantasy world, being very materialistic and shallow in his mindset and attitude.

And i still support Bengs! So i'm not all air-headed.... yet.

So things have moved along in great successes these few days.

We've comlppeted shooting our final video project and also digitized it into the comp (four DV tapes... believe that.... =p )

The secret weapon didnt work out as expected on the shooting days but the crew got it together the best they could while i was off suffereing with migrane (and shaun gladly accompanying me all the way. He even walked all the way to the other end of Pasir Ris Park to buy two strips of measly Panadols for me! awww~~~)

A few probs came up with the video: unsteady shots, unwanted soft focus and over-exposures particularly when it was about to rain.

For the first time ever, we saw the sun rise and sun set at Pasir Ris park. Yes... 5:30am to 6:30pm.

All for an 8-minute clip.

--------------------------------------

Finaly... today... my secret project is revealed.

Since a month or two ago, i have been coming back and forth to North View Secondary to meet Mdm. Aini to discuss the joint project.

Basically, the students of NVSS would be producing short videos made entirely by them which would then be shown to the school itself during assemblies.

The aim of this? To let the students noe that there are more things than just academic results... and to do stuff that their parents wouldnt normally want them to do.... legally and morally of course.

Mr. Yeo had an impromptu meeting with me too when he spotted me wiggling my butt in the middle of the concourse one day.

Then he also recommended two teachers to be my teacher in charge: Mr. How or Mdm. Tay.

He got a hold of mdm. Tay straight after the meeting and then Mr. How was refered to me and thus, the How-Audi (okay.. it sounds weird.. i noe...) joint operation came about.

So Mdm.Aini, vice principal NVSS, mr yeo, the headmaster and mr. how came together and PINPOINTED who was to participate in the project, which is still in its trail stage.

I chose most of them, particularly since most of them have blogs and i have seen some talents in a few aspects... like writing... framing and composition in photos and also acting out.

And of course... those who can handle TONS of paperwork.

So what are they gonna do?

Well... there are 11 of them.... plus a few extras that are coming in tomorrow.... hopefully. Cos some of them are planing to drag ina few more peopel they think can do the job.

These students... will be taking the roles of what the productions ive been going through have.... stuff liek directors... scriptwriters.. composers.... producers.. and stuff like that.

Casting will also be done by the students.

I would be there just to forward to them what i have been thought in FSV... hopefully with help from my crew... cos seriously... i have no idea what is inside a post-production paperwork and the other bitty stuff.

North View has been very enthusiastic really. Mdm aini tells that i am the first person ever to even DARE take up a diploma in FSV. Mr. Leong came by just now and we talked a bit and started to offer me to produce a corporate video for the school (mr. yeo actually told me do produce one eons earlier.... but no money = no video.). Mr. How was so keen on sending the first video that will be produced by the students to a festival. I adviced him not to as i think that it is just not the correct time yet.

But then again.... most of them suddenly had a change of mood when i asked them if i could have some earnings from facilitating this video project (no camera + no tripod + no microphone = no video).

I really hope this productions would turn out super-good. Cos after all.. i have some of the most talented students in north view secondary in this project.

WOOTZ!!! i finally got my left hand to play Romance in F Major!! well.. the starting part at least.... now to work onmy timing and coordination with my left hand.

and crap... the Creative Prodikeys has only 3 sets of keys (laugh all you want, piano-boys/girls) so i cant play the full intro in one sitting.

well well well.. wht to do wht to do?

Simple.. book the audiotech down in the FMS block, hook up the keyboard there to the audio console and start practising! whoo!!

o otherwise go around ppl's hse to play their pianos.

But then again... the house in Johor is near its completion stage. I have never seen it before (ok... maybe once, last year) but my family and relatives have been going up and down to Johor and back regularly and they keep saying how big the rooms are (compared to Singapore.. pfft... big deal) after they have been extended.

As usual.. my parents.. they want a malay house... so they plan to add wood wood wood and funny flowery grillings (which i think is just ugly and degrading to be called as an art.). Wont too much wood be hazardous? I mean... with wood being flammable and all.

Quite a few things would be going off to Johor as well from my house here. The 30 thousand dollars four piece couch set bought at Da Vinci's would be sent to johor(damn.. i love that couch... ) along with a few more sets of chairs and junk.

Then there'd be space here in Yishun so i thought of buying an upright piano to fill up the space. LOLZ...

Shaun asked me to buy a grand piano for the Johor house but OMG i'm nt tt rich!

and if i bought it for the yishun house then i thnk the piano would be used as a dinner table more often than a musical instrument.

And i just heard that my father's eldest brother (a.ka.... my uncle...) also bought a hse in Johor. and i heard its a three-storey freaking penthouse bungalow!

my god.. ..... singaporeans and their lust for cheap houses in Johor...

and wootz~~ .. my late fraternal grandfather (though ive never seen him alive before) left the family a little gift. My uncle and dad found it in johor just recently (after how many years past his death.. i meant my grandfather).

My grandfather left us a PIECE OF LAND in Johor!!

How big is it?

hmm.. my dad said that we can built FOUR SEMI-DETACHED houses on it PLUS have some extra space for a garden and what not. WOOO!!!!

mUAHAAH...

currently the land is just grass and dead insects.

and we have a problem. The Governemnt in Johor does not ackowlede the land as belonging to my grandfathe (they just put there: Owner.). His name is not there. So now my uncle is getting along to try to put the name there, then change it again to recognidse the family as the owner of that land so we can build sth on it.

wootz...

I dun care man.. im gonna build my own video studio there.Fourwalls, many partitions, simple and clear cut.

-------------------------------------------------------------

So another plane crashed. This time in Venezuala..

my mum is going over to Kuching this Friday to meet my dad and my sis would be i campus so wootz!!! i'm alone again!!! Whee!!

lolz... but in friday i'll be going over to shaun's place (just going over.. not sleeping... i cant take the risk...) cos there'll be another SHOOTING this week end at bukit batok and pasir ris.

I unveiled the BOB the Secret Weapon to the crew a couple of days ago and they had some fun with it and yes.. they were impressed at how stable the shots have become.

mauahah!!! we will own everyone else in the competition!! mauahah!!

but dang i can feel myself getting sick.... there's a lump behind my throat whihc should be phlegm so i might be getting fever soon. shiote... i cant be absent for the shooting!! I'm the cameraman!! eveything that's gonna appear on-screen will be my job!!

-----------------------------------------------------------------

So this friday at 1250pm ill be over at North View to meet up with Bird-bird (elizabeth lee cui wen). She promised (agreed) to show me her super-duper grade 8 skills on piano playing to me. Will be video-taping her performance on that grand piano sitting by itself in the hall. Then up it goes on this blog!!

muahaha!!!

yeah i thnk i'll be taking up piano lessons soon too.

Quite a few people (and lecturers) have urged me to get a tutor if i wnana play the insturment.

well...

we'll see...

Racist and prejudiced.

That's what i am.

Either one of those.

By the way.. i found out that Malays and Chinese are of the same race (i learnt another word, called "ethnic group".). Chinese and Malays belong to a race called.... Mongoloids. Yeah.. Mongoloids. We came from Mongolia. And that makes sense if you do a little research.

but i'll still go on with the usual definition we use for "race" here.

I am a rascist. My friends know that. The moment i hear the word "Malay", i think of ungrateful youths that destroy the country with their trends and awful haircuts and speech. if it werent malay youths then, i would think of sickly, obese women with quiet husbands that cant even control a family. And i believe that this is due to the nature of Malay dishes; fattening and unhealthy.

I think im very lucky that i cant enjoy Malay dishes because i just dont have the appetitie for messy food.

My past experiences with Mlays have always been bad. All i see when mixing with people of my ethnic group are wannabes after wannabes after wannabes after bad accents and bad language and bad lifestyle. I never enjoyed company with typical malay youths.

But however, i know that there are Malays out there who are not like those i call "typical".

These are the ones who had the spontainity to step out of that smelly stuffy house and DO something with their talents. I have found that Malays are artistic and practical innature as it that was how their ancestors were, back when skateboards were for children and electric guitars were non-existant.

I respect them. Though there is that tendency to play down Malays.

And my friends would know that i am a great supporter of the Chinese ethnic group.

and i also support Germans, Russians and Japanese and Koreans.

yes i know that those are nationalities and not ethnic groups.

But i also play the prejudiced game.

I also do play down certain... species... of the Chinese community.

And i play down many types of people.

It could be on simple non-sensical reason. For example, accent, looks, lips, head, attire and the way they think.

i cant stand those who have the pessismistic outlook on things.

And there are those that make simple things seem so hard.

"Help me see if u can find aluminium sheet in ur dad's shop."

"You ask my dad lo. i give you his number."

"But you're in his shop working!"

"But it's his shop."

Yes.. some of us here know who im talking abt... who else works in a hardware store?

But at the same time, i also love to bring up those people i like. Eve tthough some people would regard them as bad.

i will support, to my best of my abilitlies, those that i think deserve it.

I will tell people what he has done that i think is remarkable, in a sensible way (meaining i wun brag.)

In addition to my prejudiced and rascist qualities, I am also sort of a nationalist.

Singapore and its people are on its own to other countries.

I get very irritated when I hear Singaporeans talking about how he has a house in Canada and so on or have his brother studying in Australia and they make such a big deal out of it.

ooo aaa australia..... western!... oo... waaa....

And we ponder on why our country is lackingof talents.

our good talents are running off to other countries.

I know that the government is strict.... the government wants business-oriented occupations rather than "artsy-fartsy" film making jobs.

but dont u think that if there was actually the DEMAND for the government to recognise the aesthetics on greater levels, the industry itself will grow.

It's common sense.

But some high-headed people just wanna run off to some place.

Singapore is your country... work for it dammit!

....

Rascist. Prejudiced. Nationalist.

And all these three are contraversial to each other.

How can i be a nationalist when i am prejudiced to even MY OWN people?

And how can i be prejudiced if i am rascist?

......

I adore Hitler.

Hitler was a great man.

Yes. He prosecuted the Jews. I seriously think that the Jews were fine. but the Holy Book has stated that Muslims and Jews will NEVER get along. We can eat each other's food but we cant SLEEPOVER at each other's houses. So whtever... mybe killing the Jews were beneficial to the world? Well...

For a single man... a man with one testivle (rumours....)... a man that suffered from mustard gas attack in World War 1 and a man that was regularly sick and artistically inclined ( dont we just sound so similar. haha....) ... to lead an entire country..... millions of the Hitler Jugend (hitler's Youths)..... the formations of Panzer divisions (armoured) and a powerful Luftwaffe (Air Force) with nothing but just speeches and speeches.

Hitler hypnotised his people. The Nazi flag itself was hypnotic. Red, White and Black. The boldness and contrasat cupled witht he swirling swastika. He was a smart guy indeed.

If you ever get to see videos of hitler giving his speeches... you would notice his flying arms. Hitler speaks with an energy so powerful yet controlable that is shown through his quick, fluent but stiff arm movements. Sometimes he would move his arms slowly to his chest and shot it towards the audience at the beginning of a syllable.

we all should thank hitler. Firstly for the invention of rockets by scientists under his command (here coems the jet plane era). Then the advances of technology and tank warfare (Germany built millions of tanks of many different variants! They mixed and matched turrets and hulls of their available tanks to create very impressive and complicated tanks int he beginning of the war.) Germany had the best Air Force at the start of World war 2. The british were still flying on paper kites when the first german planes were already rolling out of the factories. The germans pioneered the jet plane (though they had no idea how to control a jet plane effectively.) and also the flying sacuer or wht we would refer to as "U.F.O.s".

Yes... UFOs are real. They are indeed flying saucers of the superpower's military. but u dun se any flying around cos it was difficult to control a sliding disc in mid air so UFO projects were scrapped.

.......

My 8 week break is coming soon. Maybe 3 more weeks or so. I dont know. I rely on my crew a lot when it comes to timing and paperwork. I know myself: I cant do paperwork nor can i do things like memorizing easily.

But i think i can do a lot of things with my hands.

This coming 8 week break would be a transformation period for me.

I think i would be alone visiting places in Singapore. Doing what? Hmm...

Its kind of comforting to know that we are able to spend time alone. I used to be the kind that needed someone everywhere i went. But things changed when my friends kept on saying no to accompanying me. Most probably because the places i plan to go to are of no interest to them. So i learnt as well, during the previous 6 months break, how to spend time alone. And i have enjoyed it a lot.

I'll be writing many stories i guess. Sitting down alone along Clarke Quay (hope those damned druggies dont get to me) scribbling and drawing on little pices of paper.

After i saw Shaun's many pictures taken on his fine semi-pro/pro camera, i think i find photography interesting to dwell into. I did a little bit of surfing these few weeks and i think i would be capturing black and white photos most probably. I thin kthat without colours, more details can be seen and maybe the story in the photograph gets to the viewer much more easily.

Otherwise i'll be playing with lighting, photgraphing only during sunsets and sunrises.

But i need a camera first. dotz.

But of course... my love... my dv-camera.... will not be neglected. She's been experiencing some problems lately but that has been cleared thanks to the guy taking care of millions of dollars worht of equipment, Mr. Shukor.

Mr. Shukor is a nice Malay man. I think my view of him as being just another unintelligent person doing administrative work behind the counter who know nothing about what he's giving out from the cage has changed today.

i spotted a Canon XL-1 camera packaging box in the cage and asked him a few questions abt it.

He answered the questions.. and soon enough, we started talking about cameras (i found out that my beloved XM-2 is similar to the XL-1, just much smaller and less professional looking and that the XL-1 is more preferred than the current PD-150 we're fiddling with now.)

Then he took out a Panasonic videocamera out of somewhere. It was FAT... like the pufferfish species of the video camera kingdom. He let me play around with it a while and told me that Panasonic sent the camera to them for evaluation. Wow man...

I also got to handle the XL-1 for a while. He gave it to me to play around with and wow..... yeah man i was REALLY happy then.

Then he passed me some abnormal-sized brochures for the camera to take home. I'm like... okay...

And he recommended me a place to buy video or camera equipment. No it's not Cathay Photo Store in Peninsula Plaza (Bai Ling Da Sha..lolz..) but some shop in Sim Lim square.

I'll be going there soon for my digital camera. Not forgetting telling the guy there i'm in FMS.

hmm

oh yar shaun.. if you're reading this (duh.. you would be..)... i'm going over to Kranji War Memorial soon to take video. Follow?

=p

Semester's closing.

But i dont want it to.

Because i still want to write stories.

Remember that funny feeling?

Well it goes like this... it lingers around.... then suddenly it peks up to very high levels... and then nothing..... then BOOM!

sth happens.

And it did!

Today shaun came running to us with his perky butt and told us about the commercial greek plane crashing intot he mountains, but nt before the pilots in the two f16s trailing it saw the commercial plane's pilot and co pilot in awkward positions.

ok tt didnt sound right... one of the pilots were missing and the other dead/fainted/passed out/pased away.

then boom! plane crashes into mountain, killing all 121 passengers on board.

ok so i thought tt story was sth small but today in the train i saw the guy infront of me reading the article on New Paper. Wootz...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Vicky's suddenly having back problems. I wonder if what he told me that time would come true.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

JAVIS.... oo javis... i wonder i wonder i wonder.

Vis is like a pixie fairy now... minus the costume and feminine-ness.

He answered all sms msges and msn now but will not appear before me.

Its like a conscience or some sort.

So is Vis.... dead?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I went to policlinic the other day for a check up.

Doctor checked on me (whoo tt tickles. -.-) and said,"You may be suffering from migrane....."

uh-huh ok....

".... and mild depression."

Okay what else can be more surprising?

"And i'm gay!!! Come here, lover boy!"

LOLZ~~!!!

ok the last part wasnt real but yeah i'm having migrane and mild depression whoo hoo!!!

I'm 17 and i already feel so old with all these depressions and stress and relationship problems.

And Shaun wants me to be his boyfriend. Wootz... depression......

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i wanna see donald again.

:)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Today was Girl-watching Day.

I saw lots. And yes the crew now noes i'm after Ah-lian types. :)

Things get around fast in FSV.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oh man i find myself whipping out that accent again. (no.. not the german/russian/french/japanese/malay/british/irish/canadian accent)

You're a heartlander, Audi!!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So its another day of no-"substance" for some of us here again. Dont u just feel sooooooooo upset?

Give me a topic i'll write it down just for you.

otherwise ill be touching upon lots abt the government (do you know what's a government, firstly?) or stories made up by real-life... er.. happenings.

Bet you like that rite? hearing abt wht the other person did and stuff and how many moles they have on their legs and stuff. Great.... reality TV... what an intelligent choice.

I think we are narrow-minded in some way. That;s why we keep whining and complaining and feel oh-so touchy-mouchy abt little non-existant stuff?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i think the FSV-ians are the most sensible and matured people in the FMS school (or the entire school maybe). we shun those people who make lame recital-type jokes and whiny ones (ah.. our modern youths... whine whine whine.... esp the girls... whine whine whine... just get up and fucking do sth abt the prob, dammit! why the hell do you have to go bitch about? no balls?).

I thought i was "experienced" in life so far for a 17 year old... i come to FSV and I feel like i have been kept undr a dungeon all my life and told fake stories ab the real world outside. Everyone;s here knows a lot!

Should i go further? Nah.... just giving you all a taste of wht im trying to say. Figure the rest out. Though i think that you might get it the wrong way.

Cmon.. get ur right hemisphere of ur brain kicking in..... we definitely need that for the country's future.

But dont forget that we also depsise those that do NOT work at ALL in a team!

Social loafers and freeloaders should be prosecuted and fed to whiny singaporean girls.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i think everyone should study social psychology.

Because our teens need that. Badly.

Our teens go through certain phases in their life and they have no idea how to express it.

i found out a lot abt why people do things and stuff (like false memory syndrome or lame relationship shit like "a relationship with conflict is a bad relationship". Yeah everythng's a fairy tale, yeah?).

Evrything falls into place when you study Social Psychology.

the masscommers in FMS definitely need to study it..... and keep their mouths shut..... cos im on the verge to lash out my prejudiced comments on a little note that is stuck somehwere at the MCM corner of the lecture hall.

Evr heard of respect for teachers?

oh ya.. sure.. you;re one of those bastardized people who laugh at teachers.

Ok so let's talk abt sex and teenagers.... or more precisely, pre-marital sex.

Now... we all know that our teen friends are having sex with god-knows-who already.

Admit it, all of you. How many of your friends are "clean" or "pure"?

I have my fair share of contacts and i dare say that about half of them have done something... if you get what i mean.

it is indeed so COMMON amongst US!

I am aware that religions such as Christianity and Islam FORBIDS pre-marital sex. I can imagine the consequences: person gets AIDS at a young age.. there goes his life... or the person loses the joy of sexual intercourse too early in his life that it just messes up the marriage or that some guys would just start growing larger balls and have a higher levels of testosterone hormones and go around farking everything that walks.

And i am in fact open to the idea of premarital sex.

I saw my classmates having some fun with each other when i was 12. (twleve? yeah.. twelve.. can u imagine that?).
i;ve hjeard stories of how some poepl would do stuff to another while they are sleeping at a sleepover.

And believe me... it is easy for anyone to just reach down into ur pants in the middle of the night.

And nowadays..w ith more people being so "open-minded" (more like free-minded to me) jsut so that they could "go alone with the times"... people just do stuff. Since touching each other on sleepovers is so simpe.. and some girls have kissed how many million boys before her current boyfriend and have been hugged by countless apes in secondary coupled with childish friends who just get a hard-on to see or hear their own friend doing some stuff with their partner... i wont be surprised that one day, premarital sex will be the NORM.

its'sickening.. true.. but i understand the reason for premarital sex.

and yes... even though many of us here are doing it... we're cosidered small time..... compared to western countries. Just look at their porn websites! "Young twinks having sex for the first time".... -.-

In this modern times, we guys are exposed to lots of things that "pollutes" our minds. (listening to rap is also a form of pollution to the mind and music. Rap is crap. and that rhymes.) We were enticed to ecplore sex at young ages! (i watched my first naughty video when i was 5) Even in school.. when goons came around to teach sexuallity education, i think what it only did was to entice us to explore.

Our girls are getting cuter week by week, our guys are getting smoother and smoother with school uniforms on.

The government aslo acknowledges the high number premarital sex amongst our teens. Just look at the "Are you pregnant and confused?" hotline advertisement.

We lack sth. That is.. not many of us were taught how to handle romance.

I mean.. a person's in love... he would definitely have that tingly sensation in his Willy Wonka everytime the girl gets within smelling distance of him. It's just natural! But noone has told him how to DEAL with it. It's an urge. It's there!

Go jack off or sth.

Yeah but after a while.. guy gets bored.. he goes for the bomb.

Sleepover... bang bang bang and there goes his urge. So he dumps girl. Cos why? urge is not there. :) Or maybe they get back together when the guy's period returns.

But i cant fully blame the guy on havin sex at such a young age (15? 17?)

i found out a few years ago that girls are the most freaking sinistercreatures on earth.

Girls ARE hornier than men. Most of them.. not all.

They are like the most hypocritical things ever.. on the outside.. you see a nice little cute girl walking ... shyly talking to u.... but once u get her in bed.. she turns into a bloody ape! She;s all there jumping around and screaming here and there and askining for more. -.- And as a guy.. you get scared! then zoop!... ur thing shrivels up and dies.

And i shudder to think how those people we call nerds are in bed. I think maybe that's why we dun hear from them or the person the guy they married after the wediing is over.

Premarital sex is common amongst us teens.

And i think even though some may say that they dont do it... i am ready to plonk a large sum of my savings on a bet to say that they have at least done some touching and groping here and there or even having sex!

No i havent had sex before. LOLZ!!!

But ill be soo pissed if some people i knew had actually had sex. First thing i might do is give either one of them a right hand on the lips.

Cos essentially... it's NOT RIGHT....

but stuff happens and i understand.

Okay.... the filming was in pasir ris.. ok fine.

I took the train from Yishun to City hall and then pasir ris.

I reached Tampines about 50 minutes later from Yishun...

Audi audi.... coldnt you have just took a 20-minute BUS ride from yishn to tampines and a train stop to Pasir Ris?!!??!!

ZZZ... fine fine!!! I know!

but i manged to explore the east today (from the train, at least). Such a fine area.

I spent my toddler years around Eunos (lorong sarina, anyone?) cos since that's my grandmother's place. And just passing through the station just "wow-ed" me!

i saw real tall and white hong kong-type buildings passing through me and i'm like, "wow!!! That's a sweet building!"

Then that lady-voice which doesnt seem to sound older with each new addition to the announcement system throughtout the years comes up.

"Eunos.."

Freak, man! I put on my goldfish eyes stared out of the train window and omg everything like the buildings look so much smaller than i remmeber!

Well except maybe for that old tree outside the station.. ok that thing grew...

I also passed by Aljunied and no, i thought, that cant be Aljunied.. it looks so Hougang-ish! I remeber it used to look like some marshland or sth.

Then the train passed from bedok to tanah merah... shite i saw Bedok View in broad daylight!

And they have a freaking garden on the roofs now! and they took over that old promary school too! and the building now blue!

freak man! i went there in 2001 and everything was so biege.

Pasir Ris interchange.. ohman that was nice. 403 had some pms problem so i waited there... top of the queue... oogling at people.

I made some observations.

i find that Malay youths tend to walk with either a stiff neck.. a stiff chest... a stiff leg on one side... a stiff arm.. or for some.. ALL of them.

What.. suddenly its a trend to fake that you have inuured yourself?

"Ooo gimme attention... i got into an accident and now im limping."

Fark off, people... Dun act.

Then comes the tapered pants and crooked fashion sense with all their crooked teeth and demented skulls.

then i dunno.. i think i have a fetish for what peple would call... "ah lians"....

i had dinner with michelle jsut now at long john around 11 and she noticed that all the girls i pointed out whom i thought were attractive had thin/slender legs, small built/petite and just so ah-lian-ish.

Really.. i have no sssues with ah bengs or ah lians.. i jsut find their ways attractive somewhat.

And i;m tlakin abt REAL ah bengs... not those who would freeak out when they see an indian threesome fight infront of them... like wht happned just now at long john.

I got my Combo 1 down at a table and suddenly this indian fag at the table behind me shouted in Jibberish, the language of Star Wars.

I turned back, my ass still flat/round at his face and he was shouting to hi grilfriend/mistress/slut monster.

Typical indians... LOLZ!!! jk jk...

Then this grp of chinese youths sitting at the other end of the restaurant (believ it or not, secondary school girls.... LJS IS a restaurant... high-class enugh for you? Eat more LJS...) were gawking at him, literally.

I mean.. they're dressed in caps and chains dangling outta their pockets with piercings all over their freaking pimple faces and spiky hair with only a single girl following them... and they gawk at some guy in old jeans and a bad hair day who just shouted in the most gurgled manner anyone can at a girl. Lose the punk image if you cant play it, will ya?

Then Mr. Bad-Hair-Day leaves the restaurant and Little Ms. Look-At-My-Pimply-Hairy-Chest-Low-Cut-Tank-Top comes wiggling her butt (and head) after him and the guy just slams the glass door in her nose, literally. She backtracks in pain and Bad Hair Day Man opens the door again and stares at her. Mitch and i conitnued eating while talkin abt how i made fun of *someone's* saggy boobs today.

After a while, those ounk-wannabes kept gawking and soon an old timer biker sitting beside me went up in a hurry. Some started to leave the restaurant. i turned back and yeah well... whoopee... another typical indian fight; guy fights guy because girl played with the wrong person's balls.

Then the bad hair day guy grabs a cab and pulls the one who's gonna get her genitals torn open tonight into the cab from the other guy with the white shirt.

then i dunno wht happned, a police car came, the grp of indian gangsters sitting outside LJS quickly stood up and cowered together in fear (oh, now you;re scared? Go ahead and walk with ur chest pushed forward and ur arms swinging side to side somemore.) Then bad hair Day guy's taxi comes back out of nowehere... bing bang boom.. next thhing u knew.. Bad hair Day's with his back on the grass, and the two policemen looking down at him. Pee on him for Pete's sake!

Who's Pete?

The Punk-ies quickly gathered their balls from the ground and left the restaurant.... not forgetting to look around with high noses and puting lips. Yeah sure.. act-tough.

Mitch and i finished our dinner (actually.. mitch didnt.. she was full so we did the sensible thing... ta-pau lor...). Everyone else in the restaurant had already left earlier so we were the last ones. Typical FSV students...

A stretcher was.... stretched.... on the grass patch infront of ljs. Mitch was "oh-my-gawd"-ish at the stretcher.... which had noone on it.

Bad Hair Day man was upright and standing (I knew it... drunkards just love to play that facade of fainting infront of a policemen. Acting cute, maybe?) and he started getting closer to the slut with a torn clitoris (ooo... that;s gotta hurt...) .. with mitch and i inching away from them cos the girl's hair was within smelling distance. -.-

Everyone else around was gawking at them. Some old people, the real ah bengs, sat comfortably where they were and commented on how the indians were fighting. Well....

it's alwasy like that.... girl sleep with another guy... guy not happy.. guy fights... girl pleads... girl commmits suicide.. or maybe... run away... family gets involved, uncles get angry, girl runs from home.. get s new boyfreind.. cycle repeats.

Typical.... even Vicky is getting that kind of gimmick with his cousins!

So today was my acting day.

Fun.

lots of stuff happened.... or something.

Yeah...

didnt hug the girl.. i didnt WANT to. geez man.. she looked like Ms. Danz Tan! I cant freaking have sex with my NCC officer!

and the female lead was taller than me... so its like.. wht the hell's a shorty gay boy like me having sex with a tall nipples-about-to-show-from-bra girl like her???

oh well... saw a few "exposures" today.

if she was my type i'll be oooo so..... ahem.... now...

The crew (not my crew.. this grp.. according to mitch... is my crew's rival. i mean.. well... they have great talents and a great storyline. Ok im not being sarcastic.) managed to finish NINE scenes in 10 hrs! That's so wow.... my script has only four scenes. boo..... and a childish storyline to add (of course, im saying this iwth a heartache so dont u freaking add on to it!) .

but for every grp.. there are up and downs in stuff they do. *shrugs*.

Tomorrow's the last day of filming. I'll be dying tomorrow.... it says so in the script.

Hmm... i'm thinking of getting a digital camera (oh dear.. i broke my own cardinal rule: NO DIGITALS) .. maybe one like Shaun's.. a lumix... semi-pro (or is it a pro?)... just like his.... :)

I think it'll be more practical than a video caemra..... cos a video camera like mine... you cant hide it. EVen if your life depended on it.

In singapore, you take out a video cam like mine and people will start flocking towards you, calling the police, giving Osama-stares and stuff. Plus.. you need to answer a whole lot of questions once your camera stops rolling.

Whereas for a digicam... you take it out.. focus it... snap...hide it back down. :)

great for voyeurism.

and people wont even know you took a pic of that mole on their thigh... inner... thigh.

Amyways a camera is a camera.. its meant to capture details. A video camera was meant to record motion pictures. You want details on a videocam, you need to zoom in onto the details you want.. otherwise the resolution wont allow you to see it. Film is different though. If i had a 35mm film camera, i'll be the gay-est boy alive.

Cos for a 35mm film camera, any frame you take out, has a resolution that is as good as that 10 year old analog camera you have in your storeroom (or wherever you keep it, you sadists!) . So you can blow up the frame you like n your film to maybe... as big as ur comp screen!

And u cant carry film cameras around. You'll die when you break ur back.

Well...

Anyways tomorrow i'll be touching upon (myself... LOLZ!!! ok sorry... crude joke) sex and teenagers.

Just a hint.... I DONT MIND.

Okay.. so i was in my car (wah.. mine...) at the traffice light along lentor road/lane/ave (i dunno!!!) and i thought i saw a bus driving weirdly.. lolz... weirdly cos.. it was slanted... -.-

it was riding on its hind-wheels.(hind wheels... -.- )

.... ok duh it was being TOWED bu a HUGE pick up truck. Lolz drivers would definitely hate to be picked up by one of those. Car wheelie anyone?

So this bus had its front doors HANGING loosely... a cracked windshield that showed off to me how big of a crack a crack can be (entire windscreen?) and its radiotor cover was gone and its left fender was gaping wide.

So i thought maybe the bus driver had a fight so yeah.

Then behind it i saw a trolley.

Yeah.. supermarket trolleys..... some old chinese lady was running with it. LOLZ....

i saw a trailer or sth to carry construction vehicles.. but on it wasnt the Bangla-hotrod.... it was an APC!!!

How did i noe? well.. it had tracks... it was in ugly green... in had a funky sleek turret and it had MUD (!!!!) on its lower hull.

so i tried to piece everything together.

Tank on trailer.... empty bus riding on hind-wheels...

Hide and seek gone wrong.

................................

Savage Cravings, my 2nd video project, realeased it results today (ok... sentence structure was wrong.)

The video got an A. Best in the cohort i heard.

I would like to tank.... no.. thank.... my talents for their super-cooperation with swinging booms and a cameraman in tight-fitting "Police" shirt.

Patrick Cheng (Hi, Patrick....) gave us our indidivdual marks (so far) too... I got an A.... but he told me to watch out (Somebody gonna get-a hurt reaaaallll baaaddd...) cos ive been late a gezillion spongebob times and if i could end up in the B or B+ range.

I blame the government.

..........................................

Tomorrow will be a nice day hopefully. Once again i'm being picked up to play a role in a video.

I wanted to anyways. I NEED to.... To forgive my sins for the previous time i acted in Justin-a's (My bearded director) first video proj.

So tml ill be playing as a client of a guy who has sex with his wife and gets killed in the end when the fuck-ee stabs a voodoo doll representing me in the chest. So i get a heart attack. Then i die.

and i get the first scene!! whoo!!!. lame.

..........................................

Im still fiddling arond with my keyboard. :) ... I thnk i got the first part of Bethoven's Romance "in F major Opus 40" (-.-) smoothly..... for my right hand at least.... since my right is the... ahem... one that does.... a lot of things?

............................................

There's this girl... whome i think i havea crush on.... she's in canoe.... she looks like someone i noe in North View Sec 3 (whom i also have abit of a feeling for).... she's a bit blur... she's petite.... ooohhh.....

There's this another girl... in my course... whom im looking at frm a far... she looks like Don's mom... and i cant give much details cos SOME PEOPLE (wink wink)...... yeah....

but.. oooohhh....

-----------------------

Die Gefühle is progressing real well. I liek it.

I visited The M Workshop down at Sunshine Plaza a few days ago.... THEY WERE CLOSED AGAIN!!! LOLZ.... BUT..... it wasnt really closed.... Channel U was FILIMING in there! In that 3 by 9 metres unit.

Apparently Bernard's master, Calvin Tan, won a huge award thingy in Europe.

Bernie has updated his model showcase by numbers. I saw a few new tanks.

I even saw a tank i ordered from Bernard right before i disappeared.. an SU-152. I guess they thought i was long gone so they built a nice model out of it. I found a T34-85 tank too. The EXACT same tank that i made for DONALD for his birthday (I hope it's still fine... cos im making another tank for him. Surprise!!)

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
OOoooohh.... my love.... i hope Donald is taking care of you.... I Trust Him....

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
This was how it looked like when i first completed the thing.

Funnily... the guy who made the model surprisingly did the paintjob exactly like mine. Chipping and all that. I'll show u the pic soon.

And WOOTZ~~!!!! My model is also DISPLAYED up there!!!!! The Sd-Kfz 222 is there!!!!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Yeah baby...

............................................

Die Gefühle.... Here comes the pics!!!! Those not interested in modelling please excuse us.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

That's rubbish, you say. It's not.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Test fitting the Hotchkiss... hmm... its not perfect.. but okay... :)

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

In comes the two men/boys.... men-boys.. whoo!! freaks!... err.. the grave marking and stand-in for the tree.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Do I really wanna place that dead guy there? Yes i do!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Hmm... layout seems fine... the figures and all that are just stand-ins... the Hotchkiss will be there though..

A fw days ago i went down to Art Friend in bras basah road (thanks, Shaun! and no; touching me all day wun turn me gay!) and found me some SWEET things for modelling!!!

I went material shopping and spent abt 70 over on stuff like wires... aluminium sheets.. styrene sheets.. plaster of paris... moss (yeah.. moss!!).... basswood... and other things that turn girls off.... which accounts for 70 percent of my blog readership.

There goes my 70 percent...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
So i got me some Reindeer Moss.

I think they call it reindeer moss... cos. duh... they grow on reindeers!!!

-.-

But who cares?!!!

"I do~!"

*ah-bush!*

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Wootz~~!!!! nice nice!! too bad i will be painting over it. oh well..

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
BWAHAHAH!!!! in the jungle.. the mighty jungle....

And that time in M Workshop.. i got a figure kit for this diorama.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
So it goes.. i gotta set the theme in Autumn 1942... just so that the istorical accuracy of the uniform is there.

I wouldnt care less if Bernie didnt ask to see the finished product! He's critical on everything i do on modelling!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
So we'll be using him as our sex slave for this project...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
but before we can screw him, we gotta glue him!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
and we dont wanna get messy do we? So give him *a* head! A tiny one will do!

anyways i cant paint heads or figures for nuts or anyone's nuts. But i think ill try my luck for clothes but for the head.. i thnk i'll ask Samuel, a guy our age who is a professionel figure painter (-.- .... he earns hundred over for a little 3.5cm figure he paints... zz... ) to paint our guy's head for me.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Ooo... what;s a soldier without a rifle? A masturbator~~~

lame...

Now for the grounwork... contours!!!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
I used a very icky-sticky-smelly mix of filler powder and water. Filler poweder is basically used in bathrooms (disgusted yet?) to seal tiles (u should be disgusted already. Imagine licking the area behind ur toilet bowl.)

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Then i spread-ed the mix over everything...

But ooo!! EEE!!! ooo!!! AAA!!! aaa!!! (bing bang walla walla hong kong...) The countours are jagged and uneven... so i added mre water to my mix....

used a huge brush... and...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
walla... mashed potatoes...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
I gay-ly sprinkled sand on the area where the road would be (and in my pants... oooo....).....

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Threw insome synthetic grass as well for the other areas... then used some tiny rocks mixed with fine sand to represent a mound for the grave....

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
added some George W. Bush as well...

But then after all these... things were still loose..... like some of us here... LOLZ~~

So i took out an ancient mix of white glue and water which has been stagnant for abt 3 months and used an old brush to apply this concentrateed white glue solution onto all evil on the diorama!! mauahah!!! White triumphs over browns and greens and yellows!!! mUAHAHAHHA!!!! zzz

I also drilled some holes at a little spot and inserted a few bunches of brush bristles to represent... hay.... Hey~~~

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Then poop~! in come the hotchkiss...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

The thing now is still pretty plain..

Pretty and plain maybe?

but i'll add more things soon to tie the setting together.

Wll be making the tree soon....

then the figures...

Then PAINTING the diorama~~!!!

whoo hooo!!!

Till then.. Here's the Masturbating Modeller saying,"Kia~~~Kia~~!!! "

*you damned jap-lovers understand that right?"

i keep seeing this old man.

Old... grey... wrinkled... skinny...

He stoops over when he walks and has difficulty moving his left limbs... a sign of a stroke?

its been years now.

He lives alone. I know... One day i absentmindedly went up to his unit one day after school. He looked up from where he was sitting in the balcony and gave me a nice warm smile.

i smiled and ran.

I was thinking how it was if your children just leave u like that.

I keep reading stories abt how a parent feels immense pain when their children just disappear from thie sight and stuff. I have no idea how that feels. Maybe in the future. But not now.

Like you know... you have a son... your only son.

Such an intelligent boy. Naive somewhat but such and adorable son! and he's yours!

Soon,.. your son proudly drags home another kid from school, beams up and says,"This is my friend!"

Before you know it, he scores his first A in class.

Then another....

And he fails his first test. Oh the rage you feel.

But then he brings back sth from art class just for you. Feel better?

Next thing you rememebr is your son's antics on the hotel room bed while you and your life partner are at a holiday in.. say... Turkey.

You son grows..... he gets wiser... ou start to tell him about life and puberty.

He shouts at you for the first time.

he starts going out later and later in the night and he starts leaving the house and irregular times at the drop of a hat.

Then you realise that he's not around at night anymore.

No... he's not out being bad. He's not doing anything wrong. Just your son having some time with his friends.

Then soon... he doesnt call home.

You call him. After a few times, he starts shouting over the phone everytime you call.

3 nights, he;s not home.

6 nights...
19 nights...

nothing.

Then you start to realise.... when he comes home... it's emptiness.

he sleeps.

he still studies.

he eats.

he watches sme tv.

then he goes out again. For the whole day.

When was the last time he showed off some funny antics at you and you partner?

Who knows... maybe you'll never get to experience that again.

.....
.....
...

The old man died soon enough.

the only people that turned up was his kind niece and her family, the residents that know him and the undertakers.

Where are his children?

Ah yes.. today...no.. yesterday... was Singapore's birthday.

I stayed in the heartland of YISHUN (make some noooooiiiiissseee!!!!!!!!) to watch this historical event.

and i tried my best to capture the essence of the event.

marcus and I (dion was sick. zzz.... and he lost his phone again....) ran through the crowds.. across the field.... popping here and there to watch the MASS of people in what used to be a field that noone cared for.

i went up to the block nearest to it... to the 12th storey... and OMG!!!!! THERE WERE SO MANY PEOPLE!!!

but everyone esle around me were interested in my camera ( i had my wide angle lens on and it just made it look like some futuristic submachinegun or sth... -.- ).

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
MASS of people! and that's not even all of them! there were more near northpoint! and wtf!!! is that and INDONESIAN flag?!? LOLZ!!!

When the flyby was played on the big screen, marcus and i were at the block beside 925.. 9th storey (that's the highest, man~~~) and a few moments later.... ZZZZZZZHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM~~~~~~!!!!!!

the freaking F16s were flying above us!!! it was so freaking fast.. my camera didnt get set up in time to catch it. ZZZZ only got the sound though...

and great.. today marcus touched almost all the infantry weapons currently in our mlitary (and he has the tendency to aim cock-eyed.. LOL...) .. the GPMG, M16.. SAR21... sniper rifle... MILAN.... LAW.... lolz... names that will throw some people to the little "X" at the top right corner of this window...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
"Do you feel lucky, Bei?"

Then night fell... i found a spot near the centre of the field.... it was one of the scaffoldings that had a photographer and spotlight on it. Chhildren were climbing all over it like monkeys! A few security personnel had to come down with their little LED torchlights and shooing eveyrone down.

marcus got naughty and climbed almost wayy to the top of tht two storey sturcture.... i just stuck my camera up high...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
We climbed that.... one of those...

Then bla bla.. ... FIREWORKS!!!

I GOT THE WHOLE DISPLAY!!!

PLUS THE SECOND ONE!!

AND SARAH DIDNT GET THE SECOND ONE!!!

WHOO HOO!!!

its on the video below.

OMG they had a sequence for the fireworks... i thnk they took the idea from anti-aircraft guns. Cos it was just liek that! two streams of fireworks swaying left and right like how an anti-aircraft gun fires... and they ended it with an explosion of green fireworks! splendid...

i mean really!! just look at the pic! that's roughly how AA shots look like!

ok enuf war, audi... ppl are not interested.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
DRT DRT DRT DRT DRT DRT!!!!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
BOOM~~~~mmmm!!!

Then.. my favourite... the national anthem. -.- LOLZ!!! no la jk... cmon man..... for the first time in yishun... the national anthem echoes for all...

I looked back from my spot and found that there was a gap in the crowd directly behind me... like some linear force cutting through the crowd, revealing the grass. LOLZ... i blocked ppl's view.. =p=p=

Then freak! iw as running out of tape and the mini concert came on!

i threw away that malaysian guy's rap hippo hoppo but took down the TWINS..... with 100x ZOOM!!! do you know how far is that!?!?

and good gott!!! everything was shaky and pixelated!

but hey i saw wei shan and her grouppies scuttling below me.. LOLZ.. after i saw her beinding down and running... a WHOLE BUNCH of GIRLS... i thnk there were ten or so.. followed her as close as possible to the stage befoe the twins came up.. LOZ~!!!

then came the mobile column.

they fired blanks on their machineguns and low-calibre shells. WHOO!!!!

then duh... i started to imagine as if yishun was really in a battle or sth.... ahh... ..... romance...

i saw.. FOR THE FIRST TIME (!!)... the AMX-13!!! that freaking 50-year-old tank made by the French that is currently used by Singapore... The AMX-13 did a 360-degree turn with its turret (kncokin a few spectators on the roadside infront of 925 dead in their heads... LOLZ no la jk...) and rolled off... oo i think they changed the engine.... it sounds so War of The World-ish..

and FREAK!! i saw the HOWITZER!!! That HUGE gun-totting vehicle.... its like a mobile artillery or somesort...... the gunbarrel elevated and.... de-elevated... adn it drove off.... LAME!!!!...

but omg when they fired the low-calibre shells ...ZZZ.... that thing could tear a man apart!

anyways yeah... marcus and i ran as close as possible to the stage while the mobile column was slowly dripping into yishun (i thought the army was supposed to maintain a certain distance between a column? booo.... bad leadership...) and i saw CLARA~!!! (make some noooooiiiiisssseeee!!!)

then the fat boy donald... who doesnt look fat that much as before... lolz maybe its cos he's sick eh? literally.

clara's cousins were there too... :) (hallo.. ni hao~~~)

i didnt stay longer for Tanya chua and Nick Tse to get on (each other... =p=p=p) cos my tape ran out anyways... so i left marcus with his sister (not to you, Don... =p=p=) and lef for home....

i was at the front door (everything happens there, dammit...) andi heard tanya chua sining... whee~~~~

then in my room while transferring the video to the comp, i heard nick tse... whee~~~

its like... we're neighbours!!

LOLZ!!!

ahh yes.. fun day.....

Anything for Singapore, my friends....

Anything....

p.s. ... ... i thin kthey used the word "Motherland" in one of the speeches or sth..... and i think.... communists use that word.... nationalists use "fatherland".... democratics DONT USE WORDS LIKE THAT... i thnk they use... "the country"... :)

SIngapore.. a communist nation?

well....

Anyways here is a frame from the Twins video i took....

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
na bei i should hit myself damn hard for not going into the crowd and taking the video... SO BLUR!!!! SO PIXELATED!!! SO RED!!! COLOUR BLEEDING!!! SOFT FOCUS!!!

never again, audi.... never again.... Think of that person who likes the Twins so much that the person has the poster on the person's wall... =p=p=p *hint hint*

There's this field opposite Golden Village Yishun.

It could be about a hectre large... green.... with some lonesome trees... and a few pitholes in the ground here and there.

A few weeks ago, some people came by and filled the holes with sand.

Then a few heavy machinery came onto the field.

Then trucksloads of white plastic canvas and tons of aluminium framings.

Damn the governemnt! they're destroying open lands again!

But then... tents started appearing over the field... a huge stage was erected... a widescreen porjector screen (innovation~~!!) was set up. The Fast Attak Vehicle was brought into a tent.... military webbings came up.. a firing range appeared... a leaflet was clumsily stuck on every door of the neighbourhood.

Ahh... National Day.

To go or not to go take video?

Should i go down to Benjamin Sheares bridge where "the most beautiful display of fireworks" would be ... well... displayed?

or stay in my hometown and watch this historical event take place for the first time? I mean.. im talking Nick Tse, Twins, FIREWORKS and a whole lot of "sniping" for me to do with my video camera.

Ah fark it.. im saying in Yishun.

I;m bringing out Clara's two little brothers, Dion and Marcus along with me too.

We'll basically be running about everywhere.

Ive scouted some locations up HDB blocks surrounding areas to capture the scene and i heard that fireworks are going up at 8:10pm... which by then ill be in the middle of the field... amongst a crowd of people.... taking the fireworks shooting into the sky.

And if sth were to go wrong... well... my video got it down. ":)

what? it's fun!! taking sth big going wrong out of nowhere... its fun!

Then maybe some upskirts of Twins, ya?

or of Nick Tse....

LOLZ!!!!

stupid flirt....

They had some test runing jsut a few minutes ago ... testing the sound and lights... (test the fireworks!!!). Finally... i hear the national anthem played loudly for the neighbourhood to hear... whee!!!!

lolz the other day..i thnk they were testing the fireworks... when i walked past the field to go home... i saw a bunch of guys in red forming around the field... i thought it was some Family Fun Day or sth.. so i got home... it was dark.. i slot in the key to my home.. pushed open the door and BAM BAM BAM!!!!!

ARTILLERY!!! TAKE COVER!!!! CALL THE POLICE!!!! CALL YOUR FRIENDS!!! WHERE THE HELL ARE MY BOOTS!!! I NEED MY FREAKING BOOTS! WE'RE IN A WAR DAMMIT!!!

BAM BAM BAM!!!

the sky turned pink... blue.. green.. red.... and people started rushing out of the hse and gathered to the corners of blocks facing the field.

Then suddenly.. while i was watching the people gathering at the block infornt of mine... a stray firework shot into the 7th storey of the block!! OMG!!!! There was a HUGE explosion and the few ppl were ON FiRE!!!! OMG OMG!!!!

So i closed my front door... got into my room, put down my bags, took off my clothes and turned on (myself.. =p) the computer... and started to do hoomework. :)

Cant wait for tomorrow.

Before i start, i just wnna say that that funny feeling is still lngering around. And it just got stronger today. The other day my father drove the family to Changi after he touched down at the airport (lolz i can imagine him tip-toeing on one leg and saying,"Touched down!" ). I noe Changi village.... lots of hawker stalls.... lots of cats... old buildings planes... old changi hospital... wei shan and i had our time there...... Anyways i stepped out of the car and the moment i took a deep breath of Changi air, my other senses kicked in; something's waaaatttcchiiiiinnnnggggg ......

ooo....

okay better watchout for things.. 7th month is here....

Anyways i have a Social Psychology project due. Eh no wait... it's a journal really... zz... but then.. there's the option of creative entry. :)

lolz i chose creative entries cos i thought maybe i shld break away from writing for a while. Basically creative entries are those little artifacts that represent somehting abt the topic discussed.

Our topic is something (i dun have the paper with me now...) about how our gender affects the way ppl perceive us.. emotinally.. mentally.. and stuff. lolz everytime i think f gender.. i think of a dick and boobs. Lolz.. when "male" appears, i tend to say it on my mind as "meh-llllllllll".... with the vibrating tongue on L.... kinda represents the dick swishing here and there.. LOLZ!!!

anyways yeah i thought of making a diorama for this one. It's been a long time since i modelled. Bernard in M Workshop sure hasnt been hearing from me since. Gulp... i pang seh his shop.. -.-.....

Anyways.. oo yeah.. story time....

France, Autumn of 1942. The Germans are pushing forward relentlessly and the French army is desperately fighting back for their soil with ill-armoured Hotchkiss tanks and penny pockets of infantry. A german infantry column rushes bravely forward along a dirt track, evading French gunfire. A hotchkiss tank lies abandoned by the roadside. Black smoke rises up the the distant fields. The day is bright, the leaves are brown and plenty. Amidst all the chaos, a German soldier stands by the dirt track, a spade in one hand, his rifle in the other. He looks forlongingly at something. The other soldiers rush behind him. He doesnt care. He cant. Infront of him lays a freshly covered grave. At the head of the grave, a pole is poked into the ground and a German helmet balances on its tip. The German soldier tries not to cry. He shouldnt. No one must see him do so. that's the way he was brought up; to be a man. No matter how painful it is to bury the corpse of your own dead friend, a man musn't cry, he thought.

But on the other side of the hotchkiss, sitting under a tree with golden leaves, a German soldier sits on the ground, his face buried in his knees. His helmet and rifle lay clumsily by his side. He is crying. Nothing more but a young boy, a part of the Hitler Jugend (Hitler's Youth) regiment, he looks up; he looks exactly like the previous German soldier, only with a more boyish look. He cries wholeheartedly for his dead friend, in this little dark corner of the world, privacy only provided by an old tree and a thin wall of armour.

The End.

Deep? boo... anwyays.. metaphorically, guys do have emotional sides too (you know!) .... i mean... duh.. just look at me... i get so pissed when Vis does this and that. oh yeah... i thnk we're ok now.... he's replying... im smsing... i'm still joking... he''s not... i arrange for a meeting.... he has sth on... oh dear.... :)

ANYWAYS.....

i got this idea straight out when i realised the possibility of doing a creative entry. I drew out sketches immediately and continued to expand the possibilities and let the idea mature.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Some rough sketches i made.

I originally had the idea of putting the grave on a super-lower ground. Then the tank is there as a shield between the man-soldier and boy-soldier (lolz...). the tree is there originally to add height and capture a person's attention to the diorama but hey! everything on a dio should have a purpose! And thus the story is born. :)

I slept with the idea.. named it (for now) Die Gefühle (The Emotions). i have this passion for giving names such as those.... even though it is downright unsuitable at times. pfft... then as the i dea grew.. i bought the display from Sunshine plaza, the gundam shop.... (M Workshop was closed that time...) for SGD 18.00 and as i positioned the tank here and there.... i found out that i had VERY LITTLE SPACE.... so i thought maybe put the tree.... tank... then man.... witht he display facing the viewer in the landscape...view... -.- okay.

Didnt work out.. i had plenty of empty spaces here and there and no matter how hard i tried i.e. adding extra material such as fuel drums or boxes or vegitation, the dio still didnt look right. So i SCRAPED the project.... at first.

Went for dinner... played some games and shot some terrorists... and while the game was loading, i looked at the mess i made on the table and LO AND BEHOLD!!!! the tank, tree and display was positioned in such a perfect manner!

well at least.. it was better than before. This time it wasnt "landscape format"...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
that's wht i saw. Look! i even drew a sketch! With perspective! see the horizon and the vanishing point?

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
And in comes the man... That's a stand-in btw.. i havent bought the figure i wanted to use yet.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Then comes in the actual planning...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
See how big it is? So small... and i gotta paint that!

And thus i start building my dio project. First up was to border the sides with styrofoam so that the groundwork coming up after that would be straight. (not gay).

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Then comes in the white glue and a board of hardpaper and a couple of dumbells to add wieght tot he board so that it conforms to the contours placed by the styrofoam underneath. The dumbells amazingly fit perfectly amazing. -.-

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Ah yes.. that's enuf for the night.. now for the glue to dry completely and then groundwork can be put on. Have to go down to Art Friend tml or sth to get some balsa wood for the dio.

And that leaves me to clean my table.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I'm super-anxious o get this project done. That Hotchkiss tank has been waiting for sth to be done on it ever since i put on the French logo decal on it WAYYYY before poly started.

Ahh yes... my Hotchkiss... you will be getting a new life soon... muacks..

though u may be a bit uglier than the Type 97 Chi Ha but nevertheless...

Anyways if this project cant work... i'm going for my back up plan... a VIDEO.... hmm... maybe a story on how a friend fought with his buddy and now he gets so upset he becomes delusioned because he is not supposed to tell anyone how he feels for another person of the same sex even though they may be, to put it plainly, friends?

:)
