So things have moved along in great successes these few days.

We've comlppeted shooting our final video project and also digitized it into the comp (four DV tapes... believe that.... =p )

The secret weapon didnt work out as expected on the shooting days but the crew got it together the best they could while i was off suffereing with migrane (and shaun gladly accompanying me all the way. He even walked all the way to the other end of Pasir Ris Park to buy two strips of measly Panadols for me! awww~~~)

A few probs came up with the video: unsteady shots, unwanted soft focus and over-exposures particularly when it was about to rain.

For the first time ever, we saw the sun rise and sun set at Pasir Ris park. Yes... 5:30am to 6:30pm.

All for an 8-minute clip.

Finaly... today... my secret project is revealed.

Since a month or two ago, i have been coming back and forth to North View Secondary to meet Mdm. Aini to discuss the joint project.

Basically, the students of NVSS would be producing short videos made entirely by them which would then be shown to the school itself during assemblies.

The aim of this? To let the students noe that there are more things than just academic results... and to do stuff that their parents wouldnt normally want them to do.... legally and morally of course.

Mr. Yeo had an impromptu meeting with me too when he spotted me wiggling my butt in the middle of the concourse one day.

Then he also recommended two teachers to be my teacher in charge: Mr. How or Mdm. Tay.

He got a hold of mdm. Tay straight after the meeting and then Mr. How was refered to me and thus, the How-Audi (okay.. it sounds weird.. i noe...) joint operation came about.

So Mdm.Aini, vice principal NVSS, mr yeo, the headmaster and mr. how came together and PINPOINTED who was to participate in the project, which is still in its trail stage.

I chose most of them, particularly since most of them have blogs and i have seen some talents in a few aspects... like writing... framing and composition in photos and also acting out.

And of course... those who can handle TONS of paperwork.

So what are they gonna do?

Well... there are 11 of them.... plus a few extras that are coming in tomorrow.... hopefully. Cos some of them are planing to drag ina few more peopel they think can do the job.

These students... will be taking the roles of what the productions ive been going through have.... stuff liek directors... scriptwriters.. composers.... producers.. and stuff like that.

Casting will also be done by the students.

I would be there just to forward to them what i have been thought in FSV... hopefully with help from my crew... cos seriously... i have no idea what is inside a post-production paperwork and the other bitty stuff.

North View has been very enthusiastic really. Mdm aini tells that i am the first person ever to even DARE take up a diploma in FSV. Mr. Leong came by just now and we talked a bit and started to offer me to produce a corporate video for the school (mr. yeo actually told me do produce one eons earlier.... but no money = no video.). Mr. How was so keen on sending the first video that will be produced by the students to a festival. I adviced him not to as i think that it is just not the correct time yet.

But then again.... most of them suddenly had a change of mood when i asked them if i could have some earnings from facilitating this video project (no camera + no tripod + no microphone = no video).

I really hope this productions would turn out super-good. Cos after all.. i have some of the most talented students in north view secondary in this project.
