I brought my newly painted KV-2 down to M Workshop today and Bernard was SHOCKED! He just LOVED the many different shadings of green on the tank. It so happened i also brought down the Sherman and my improved diorama base (the one that ugly Zero was on). Immediately he sat down.. took out some turpentine and oil paints and started teaching me more about washes and drybrushing (man... drybrushing is a pain.).... and it wasnt even my lesson!!!

I wont say the KV2 was good or anything.... i'll leave that to you when i post up pictures soon enough.

So today he cut me a deal. The deal is... he'll give my three models to complete. Let me rephrase that... to OFFICIALLY complete. He has signed me up for the intermediate course. BUT.... I dont have to pay the fees of SGD$250.... yet. AFter my third model... when he has passed on most of his skills to me... He would give me a brand name... and post up my subsequent models for SALE. In addition.. I will be regarded as one of his artists. And with the money i make through selling.... that is how i will pay him the fees. Self-sufficency. Wow... such a big deal. Literally. Last month i was just another pitiful modeller and now im an artist-trainee. I am fortunate to be blessed by God to chance upon M Workshop and the people working in it and for that certain talent He has given me.

Thank you, God. I mean it.

So there.. you witnessed it LIVE.... a new chapter in my modeling life.

Currently i am halfway through with the basic bulding of my first official model, the PanzerpƤhwagen (Artilleriewagen). It has an odd shape somewhat. Pictures coming soon!!!

Stay posted!!! Stay on your toes!!!
