I managed to get a few (yeah... few..) frames off the video footages on Singapore. I know its copyright infringement but still..... zzz... lets just close one eye eh?
Pictures courtesy of Universe Laser & Video Co,. Ltd.
Fall of Singapore.
Banzai charge
Anti-aircraft gun in City Hall (?). I have a feeling it's infront of the Judicary (?) Court.. okay fine.. the J Court..

Sentosa 1940s. Nothing but guns guns guns and no bikinis....
Sentosa Battery
Japs on a boat... The footages had voiceovers in mandarin so i brought Vis over and he helped me translate some of the things being said. Says here that the Japs invaded with 400 men whereas the Brits had 2000 men.
On the way to Singapore from the east... ehh on the east... i think they went over to Pulau Ubin..
The Japs are coming!! The Japs are coming!! aaaahhhh!!!
The Causeway..... 60 years ago.... :)
Bombs dropped onto Singapore
View of Marina Bay from the air...
Unknown town (most probably the eastern towns like Bugis....). Brits are marching....
Another view..
Bob... The Smiling Soldier.
While he was smiling.... the Japs came... on bikes stolen from Malaysians. :)
Jap trucks. See the amount of foliage used?
The sign behind this officer reads "Sungei Bekok". If im not wrong... this is in Malaysia. I'll get the historical department of Singapore's number soon and ask them abt Sungei Bekok.
Type 97 Chi Ha. Told u it was real...
Roadwheels...
Front hull.
Believe me.. i've seen this house before. Its near Changi beach. Near the military camps....
Arent u relieved to see Singhs? I was.
Sylvester Sim's grandfather....
Wonder what happened to her.
The Japs had Gekko bombers and Zero fighters (and Otsu and Haki and Ki....). What did the Brits have? a Buffalo (the name really was Buffalo) plane designed in 1939. Japs attacked us in 1942 and between 1939 to 1945, warfare technology really advance very very rapidly. U can get new tanks every month if u were German.
Unassembled Buffalo. Translated again from the narrator.. the Brits had MANY Buffaloes.... but they were not assembled in time. *slaps head*
Trenches being dug somewhere.. does the tower look familiar?
Sentosa.... somewhere..
Indian Regiment. The black thingies being carried are boats.
Japs used observation blimps in Singapore to gather inteligence information on enemy activities. Inteligent. Singaporeans use blimps for advertisement and attracting money (Starhub blimp)
Jap field artillery.
Another Jap field arty. only bigger.
The shoreline looks familiar doesnt it? Obviously... THIS is orchard road!!! lolz nah.... Marina Bay, City Hall and Raffles place combined...
The picture everyone noes.... the march to Ford Motor Factory.
A lesser known view... The factory itself.. at the doorstep.
Yamashita...
... and the cowardly prince.
Japs celebrate.
Now look closely at what they're standing on. That's right. A Type 97!
These are POWs of the Japs. A mixture of Brits... Indians.. and Malays. All of them sent to Thailand to get circumcised.... heh heh... to build the Death Railway.
Chi Ha. Notice the colour scheme.
Mixture of Type 97s and other Type variants.
Look at the colour scheme and all the dirt again.
The helmet.. the division sign (that white curvy line) and the camo pattern.
Look upon the face of evil.. the guy wearing specs. He loooks just like one of those perverted uncles who would rape any single virgin girls they see. He wont have much luck if he were here right now... every girl here are either attached or has been unvirginatized.... yeah. After the war they got him and executed him. No kidding....They rounded up lotsa Japs after the war and executed them for war crimes. Even during the war, Yamashita sent people to arrest those soldiers who rape and kill and loot and most probably execute them too. Yamashita aint a bad guy eh?
Now gaze upon the face of good. Of compassion and clean shaves....
Sir Stamford Raffles. He's seen everything.
Parliament building. 60 years later in 2002, North View Sec 2 Express students would be loitering around there enjoying the aircon.
but 6 seconds later its view is blocked by another Chi Ha.
Another different tank.
Sake poured on a tombstone. Could use this as a diorama idea.
Well...... I've just given u a tour of old Singapore. Feels good doesnt it? to see ur country in a way u've nv seen before.
